Reviews - What do our customers think?
An indepth look at the problems of a fatherless society--ours!  Jul 30, 2008
Doug Stringer is the president of Turning Point Ministries International, which founded Somebody Cares.

In his book Who's Your Daddy Now? Stringer takes a hard look at the fatherless world that we've created and declares that it's an epidemic that impacts every person and every area of society. Stringer's passion is to restore the fatherless people who are struggling to survive. The answer, according to Stringer is to receive the love of a father-The Father.

Divorce and subsequent abandonment of children by their fathers is contributing to increased pregnancy, abortion, alcohol and drug addiction rates and more divorce and abandonment. Our country is now a `double generation' of fatherless people (50-60 %) and the world will and is suffering as a result. The solution is the love of a father. We've lost our way and are losing our moral and spiritual values which will further contribute to more fatherless children and more societal problems.

Stringer knows that not everyone will be able to have a healthy earthly father to help guide them through life, but he does know that there are programs to help people and there is God the Father and His Spirit of Adoption is possible and necessary. He loves us, accepts us and embraces us, no matter whom we are or what we've done.

I strongly suggest reading Who's Your Daddy Now? for an indepth look at the problems of a fatherless society. It's heartbreaking. But then continue to read-for the hope and the solutions for a healed world. If we all responded to Stringer's book, we could have a good beginning of a healing process. If we don't, we're going to continue the long fall.

Armchair Interviews says: A must read.

You need to read this book  Jan 2, 2008
If you experienced the absence of a father or the absence of a fathers love in your growing years then this book is a must read for you. Doug has a way of communicating that helps all of us relate to the stories he shares. It will bring hope and healing to your heart and help you understand true life altering love can only come from your Heavenly Father. This book also contains powerful insights into our present and emerging generations and the desperate need they have to be affirmed by fathers and/or father figures. God the Father loves us and has a good plan for our lives but often we miss out on His best for us because we don't trust His unconditional love fully. Doug has walked the path of healing and I believe this book will help you on the same journey to receive wholeness and healing that will impact your life and those around you.
LIFE-CHANGER!!  Aug 28, 2007
As a girl who's dad left when she was 12, introduced herself to Jesus when she was 29 and has raised 2 great kids as a single mom -- One who has grown up with no Dad in my house and raising my kids without their Dad -- Doug has illustrated the practical reality of a life changed by knowing, loving and serving Jesus Christ. Our Daddy in heaven heals and restores and gives us lives of victory, peace and joy -- nothing is impossible with God and Doug has packaged the gift of a life-changing personal relationship with JC beautifully here -- B R A V O!!!!
