Item Description...
Colored Eggs for Jesse is a new children's book from Linda Hacon Winwood, best-selling author of Mommy, Why Don't We Celebrate Halloween. Winwood has written a book that:

* Has Scripture references for Sunday school lessons or for families to do a bible study
* Is written in such a way that children who can't read can reproduce a set of eggs just by following the pictures
* Has a list of supplies and where to find them, to make it easier to create a set of eggs
* Is also a coloring book

Using the book's directions to create the eggs, parents can then use them to tell their children what Easter is really about. Designed as a low-price alternative to Resurrection Eggs, Colored Eggs for Jesse creates a fun way for parents to share the Easter Story with their children.

More About John Bunyan

John Bunyan John Bunyan (1628 1688) was born in Elstow, England, and his life was spared twice in his early years, something he believed God had done for a special purpose.

John Bunyan was an English Christian writer and preacher who is best known for his allegorical novel The Pilgrim' s Progress, published in 1678. Bunyan' s faith was profoundly influenced by two books owned by his wife: Arthur Dent's Plain Man's Pathway to Heaven and Lewis Bayly's Practice of Piety, and he turned to preaching following the death of his guide and mentor, John Gifford.

In November 1660, when Bunyan arrived to preach in the little town of Lower Samsell, he was informed that a warrant had been issued for his arrest. Unwilling to denounce his Christian faith and his calling to the ministry, he was imprisoned for twelve years. Among the many writings he published during his imprisonment are The Holy City, Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners, and the most famous, The Pilgrim's Progress.

After his release, he continued to write and publish stirring works that have endured through time. Among these classics are The Holy War, Visions of Heaven and Hell, and Journey to Hell: The Life and Death of Mr. Badman.
