Great CD! Great band!  Mar 8, 2007
TFK is one of those great bands that I would recommend to any serious rock fan! They have great sound, great style, and their songs are danceable.

My personal favorites are Absolute, Move, Hit the Floor, Art of Breaking, and Breath You In. I keep those on the top of my iPod playlist! It's a great CD for any rock fan, and I'm loving it!
TFK's Best Release To Date  Feb 18, 2007
If you weren't a fan of this band in the past, do yourself a favor and check out The Art Of Breaking. It reminds me alot of Trapt's first cd, with rhythmic vocals and big hooks in every song! Their last cd was pretty tight, but i don't listen to it anymore. The Art Of Breaking blows it out of the water, and I can't imagine ever getting sick of it at this point. Word on the street is that TFK are recording new material, and if they stay in the direction of The Art Of Breaking, they've got a fan in me for life. Buy IT!!!!
Their best yet  Feb 2, 2007
Phenomenon is great, this one's even better! A must have for all TFK fans!
All in the Title  Nov 29, 2006
I see a lot of "die hard" TFK fans posting the "sell-out" and "betraying the style" posts and it kinda seems a bit dramatic and short sighted. This album shows the maturity TFK has found. The rocking nature has extended to a new level and the music is pure, hard, clean and exciting. I admit hearing the opening track I thought to myself "Hmmmm....this doesn't sound like TFK", BUT if you listen to it a few times the song becomes a part of your love for the band.

TFK presents this album with a melodic tone to the singing and a clean hard follow through from the band. Every song has something to appreciate and there is not one I would skip for being poor quality. Being the type of music fan I am I would skip the slower track "Hurt". I love the song, but it's not a throw the windows down and blast the rock type of song, if you know what that means!

The songs have amazing guitar work and great drum combinations. It appears that as TFK has transformed from the rap-rock hybrid into a more rock oriented band with a whisper of rap they have not lost their ability to manipulate their tools. I love the music so much so that some songs I find myself drowned in the beats and not the words.

I think the bottom line is: Great album, not like anything they have done before...they have re-invented themselves and performed the art of breaking, thus the title. (Yes, that was cliché and I know it) Regardless, as a long time/loyal TFK fan I love their maturity and transformation and I hope they continue to grow and become one of the greatest and most popular rocks bands out there.

Just a side note for all you haters of the album: TFK is the rock and FM Static is the punk. It was a beautiful divide and you should look into their progress as a group. TFK is only half of the music they make and I feel they separated the styles with a dash of genius and now they have two distinct flavors both rocking out in their own way.

Enjoy it! My Favorites are "Slow Bleed", "Go" and "Stranger"
Most Under-rated Band in the USA  Jul 22, 2006
I accidentally found TFK when I was 'channel surfing' on my car radio. I stopped when I heard a jamming rock guitar, smashing beat, and awesome vocals. To my shock, the station I was listening to turned out to be "Christian"! Holy Shnikies!? When did Christian rock start sounding like that? Who knew? I must've missed that memo!

Somewhere, somehow, somebody figured out that a lot of us believers wanted to toss the old hymn book to our parents and rock it out! It's about time!

I decided to buy TFK's Phenomenon - my first Christian CD EVER! I found that this band has to be the most UNDER-RATED band in the USA!

How many times have you bought a cd and you liked only 2 or 3 songs? Not so with TFK. All of their music jams!

I decided to let my husband listen to them to get his input. He never pays attention to lyrics. So, I didn't tell them they were "Christian" rock. He was instantly hooked! When I dropped the bomb, he was just as shocked as I was about their "genre".

Bottom line.... The sound created by these guys is what people WANT to jam to. What a shame they don't get the airplay they so rightly deserve!

I've seen them in concert twice. These guys from Canada know how to rock, jam, and toss their energy around the room with the best of them.

Oh, and they do it without the cussing and sexually explicit lyrics! So now my 10 year old and 6 year old boys can jam and headbang in the car without me worrying about it.

As far as this album is concerned... Like the majority of TFK fans, my favorite is Phenomenon, but it is still wonderful work of jammin' art - in it's own right!

Long Live Thousand Foot Krutch!
