Reviews - What do our customers think?
Love it  Apr 5, 2009
I have never heard of this band before play one of there songs. I love all the songs on the album except for two.
Good Sound, Good Message  Jul 12, 2008
This is another quality project by Tree63.

All of the songs are full of Christian lyrics. They have an energetic rock sound. All of the tracks are pretty good with very solid messages. My favorite one on this CD is 'Sunday'. It is really excellent.

Although this album is good, I don't think it is in ths same class as their previous two records. I would definitely recommend 'The Answer to the Question' and 'Worship Volume One' first for anyone who does not have any music by this group.
Good tunes  Jul 8, 2008
Bought this for my brother and couldn't help but give it a listen first - loved it, esp. the tile track. Good buy.
BEYOND GOOD!!!  Jun 7, 2008
A shameless shift in direction from worship back to rock makes Tree63's fifth release a tour de force. Raw stadium-ready riffs permeate nearly every track, with some sensational ballads thrown in as well. Experimental and true to their roots at the same time, the bandmembers give a shout-out to their '80s influences, ranging from the Police and U2 to, of course, Delirious?
In a perfect world these guys would be the Beatles  Feb 24, 2008
The Newsboys would be the Stones. And the Stones wouldn't exist.

I've heard it said that Tree 63 sounds like U2. I don't know, I've never heard U2.

My "formative years" were the sixties and early seventies. So I heard the Beatles and the Stones. By the time U2 came around (I had to look them up in Wikipedia) I was only interested in a few rock groups, and U2 wasn't one of them.

I started listening to jazz, mostly jazz fusion, Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea and Pat Matheny and Weather Report. Especially Weather Report.

In the mid-eighties I was saved by faith in Christ and started listening to Glad and a few other Christian artists. Mostly Glad. Still like 'em a lot.

This explains why I know about the Beatles and the Stones and not U2. However if U2 has this kind of sound, well, it's a great sound. But Tree 63 has the lyrics, too.

What makes this a great CD is that every tune is good. There is no filler here. It's hard for me to even single out songs, because it's all good. I would rather hear this CD played 24/7 than wait for the occasional good song played on Christian rock radio.

How can Christian rock stations only play "Sunday" from this CD and that's about it? They will say they need to give time to other Christian artists. But most of what I hear on Christian rock-radio is mediocrity.

I suspect Tree 63's hard-rock style is politically incorrect, even in the Christian rock-radio format. I don't get that. I've heard it said that people leave Tree 63 concerts after they play "Blessed Be the Name." These must be the same people responsible for the programming on Christian rock radio.

Sunday is coming. Buy this CD, people. It is outstanding.
