How to raise spiritually healthy kids, by Bill Hybels, just hit the trash at our house. This book is supposed to be a book about parenting. But he starts out in the first chapter, "to be or not to be," he says that married couples should think twice before starting a family. What a way to start a parenting book! Obviously most people who would buy this book would already be parents, and the bible is very clear to "be fruitful and multiply". He takes power away from God. God can heal all wounds, especially in Christian couples who are seeking Jesus! Children are a blessing no matter the times we live in and God has a plan for every child that He "knits in the Mothers womb", regardless of the past, or emotional state of the mother or father. Eternity is what matters, we can take children with us into heaven, not stuff!!!!! "Children are an inheritance from the Lord and blessed is the man who is quiver is full of them". We need to raise Godly arrows "to go into all the World and Preach the Good News".
