Reviews - What do our customers think?
To The Point  Mar 9, 2007
Great reference book to keep on hand. I don't look at the book as something that is meant to change my political position or touchy feelings. I find that it further grounds my foundational certitudes and puts to paper those things that normal people instinctively find as truth. Lefties beware... if you're not intelectually honest, then this book is not for you.

Same Old Same Old  Jan 23, 2007
Nothing new here. This is just the same old same old found in books by Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and a host of others. It's as if Kevin just wanted to cash in on the popularity of conservative books.

Like other books of this ilk, don't buy it new. Wait a few months, and you'll be able to get a like-new copy for about $1.

Entertaining and right to the point  Nov 12, 2006
Until I read this book I'd never heard of Kevin McCullough and his MuscleHead Revolution. I'm glad we finally met. MuscleHeads aren't Democrats or Republicans. They aren't Christians or non-Christians, but a mixture of all these groups, bound together by a shared belief that we are engaged in a war for the very soul of America. MuscleHeads are concerned about values, about integrity, about looking at the facts, not just promoting opinions. They care about honor and dignity. I read chapter after chapter, thinking, "Yes, that's what I believe too."

McCullough doesn't soft pedal anything. He isn't abrasive or beligerent, but he is quick to point out what's wrong with our country and why. If you're concerned about the constant vulgarity and immoral examples being fed to our children on a daily basis, if you're tired of half truths and manipulations, fed up with downright lies, you may be a Musclehead.

Kevin McCullough's MuscleHead Revolution is well written and easy to understand. It will grip your attention and hold it from page one. We need more books like this.

A call to Muscleheads everywhere!  Oct 4, 2006
Subtitled: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking

Musclehead Revolution promotes solid values and principles in examining American life. Moderate and liberal sectors may take "Musclehead" to mean "meathead." However, if they read the book, they may change their minds. "Musclehead" means an exercised and exercising mind, not one muscle-bound to rigidity. A Musclehead is one who has learned to think for himself, as Malcolm X urged everyone to do. He concluded that Christians and Muslims have more in common than in differences; and if he were leading now, his common sense might help end terrorism.

McCullough stands up for common sense, while others, including the ACLU, seem to jump up for every cause except Judeo-Christian values. McCullough stands against the tide of anti-Christianity--or is it against an antichrist that attacks "conservative" values?

Such parallels can be drawn, and I urge everyone to read the book and decide the question for himself. The fact is, there have been immoral acts committed by scattered individuals in all parties: Liberal, Conservative, Independent, and the hundreds of Canadian parties, not to mention global politics.

Individuals fall to temptation as they have always done, but this is not cause to throw out a whole government. Voters need to vote bad officeholders out of office. Changing political parties alone in the White House only brings new problems in eradicating the old regime. People need to consciously select a moral, values-based footing and use its foundation to help make decisions and cast votes. That is what a Musclehead does.

This book openly discusses Terry Schiavo's death/murder, homosexuality, and other hot-trigger issues. McCullough calls for people to think about them without the politics.

America's homosexual population is really greater than the 2-3% reported. That, with the aging of America, results in fewer babies; while illegals continue to immigrate to America. Add in abortion and euthanasia of the less-abled and we have genocide of many types disguised as "rights."

Common sense asks what America will become and whether citizens want that. Yes, we have always been a melting pot, yearning to be free. However, the heterosexual, the Christian and Jew, the old, the infirm, and the legal citizen are all being squeezed out. Why? Where do we go? The moon and mars are too far off and technologically not yet possible. Perhaps, we need to be Muscleheads and stand our ground.

Armchair Interviews says: A call to Muscleheads everywhere....

"Commonsense?"   Sep 29, 2006
It is pretty hilarious to hear this Christian conservative speaking of common sense, or in this case "commonsense." How would common sense dictate that an omnipotent, omniscient being that created the universe would care about something as inconsequential as whether homosexuals get married? Use of actual common sense would reveal that this is simply an attempt to justify McCullough's own homophobia. And it made precious little sense, common or otherwise, for McCullough and his ilk to turn the entire government and media in this country upside-down in a vain attempt to save the life of a woman who was, it has been since proven beyond a shadow of a doubt, in a persistant vegetative state while thousands of fully-conscious people died due to an inability to afford healthcare. McCullough means well, but his thinking is quite sloppy, and this book is 100% about dogmatic beliefs that have NOTHING to do with rational thinking or common sense.
