Un buen libro para introducirnos en la realidad de las teologias hispanas en USA. Como latinoamericano con poco tiempo viviendo en una zona de permanenete movilidad migratoria como California, encuentro muy util para mi trabajo pastoral como inmigrantes, mayormente mexicanos, este libro, porque me permite entender mejor la situacion de la reflexion teologica y pastoral de la comunidad hispana aqui.
Recomiendo su lectura como una introduccion a un estudio posterior y mas detallado de los principales autores hispano-norteamericanos.
Me parece muy interesante sobre todo el capitulo en el cual el autor explora las raices de la identidad de la comunidad inmigrante, especialmente de la segunda generacion, la cual no es de alla, pero tampoco es aceptada como totalmente de aqui, en entrevistas personales con miembros de mi propia comundiad, he encontrado mucha similitud a lo descrito en el libro con los testimonios que he recogido.
