A Realistic Look at Mary's Later Life  Jan 15, 2007
Most of us, even Christians who are very interested in "what happened to some particular person...", don't even know what happened to Jesus' own very dynamic and fascinating Mother after His ressurection. Because history wasn't recorded in those days in the precise way that it is now -- and because a lot had to be kept secret due to persecution -- we never will know very much with absolute certainty.

But in this book, the author takes a very close look at what we do know, and "reconstructs" (as he puts it) what must have -- or very probably -- happened in the life of Mary after the ressurection of her Son. Because the author is careful to distinguish between that which he can document, and that which he is "filling in" or speculating, the book is not a "fact-based fiction"; rather it is a work consistent with good analysis based on ancient writings and archeological discoveries. And, because it is clear what is known and what is reconstructed, the reader is free to do his/her own speculation as well, also based on the known facts.

If you are interested in Mary and curious about "the rest of her life", you'll find this book almost impossible to put down.
