I'd read this book many, many years ago and was deeply touched by it's message and method of writing. I felt the need to reread it...and give one as a gift for a pastor who was going through a very difficult time....and was touched again in new ways. Regardless of Christian age or maturity, it is a must read just for the blessings received.

Love this book, would never have imagined an allegorical piece could affect me so completely and so positively. As a Christian I am reminded to be as little children, this book helped peel away all that was not that child and refreshed me and my place in the scheme of lifes lessons. Feelings have meaning ,finding them and that meaning is no small feat to those of us who find a bit of themselves in the treasured characters, and great energy evolves from hope.
