This book is a step by step guide as to how the family stood with Dodie through all the emotions the ups and downs and won the battle. There are 40 or more scriptures you can read from the back and they could be applied to any illness or adapted to your situation. I have a copy and I won't part with it. In fact I am thinking of obtaining more. Don't miss getting this jewel. It is like gold in your library.

| I purchased this book after I was diagnosed with cancer. I found it to be very uplifting and inspiring. My husband and mother also read it and found it to be a blessing for them as ones who are dealing with a family member going through such an ordeal. I then passed it on the a friend who was diagnosed with cancer and then order another one for myself. I bought this book for my mother who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) which is treatable, but fast moving. The family, church, many ministries and people prayed. Our family fasted and prayed, and today my mother is healed! It has been a year and a half since she was diagnosed. Dodie's book is really encouraging as she tells the story about how God healed her from cancer. I would also suggest Betty Price's book Through the Fire and Through the Water: My Triumph Over Cancer. Betty is another wonderful woman of God who prayed through for her miracle!

| I bought this book for a friend with lung cancer. I see Dodie Osteen every Sunday sitting in her son's congregation on nationwide TV nearly 25 years after being told that she had weeks to live in 1981. I have since come back and bought more copies of the book for my aunt with Parkinson's, my mother with rhuematoid arthritis, for my sister and her husband who have had breast/prostate cancer. | I read this book on a flight to see my son. I am a breast cancer survivor that has held on to God's word for my own healing. This book was then passed on to my mother in law who had recent stomach cancer surgery and she is doing very well and holding on to her healing by faith.
