Overview
Dying With Carol is an account of how the Body of Christ supported Bob and Carol when they were going through the anguish of Carol dying from cancer. This happened in two ways: The Catholic Cursillo and the Protestant Walk to Emmaus, and a local United Methodist church. They were helped tremendously through the hospital stays and also a prolonged home experience with Hospice by daily e-mails and the answers they recieved from all over the country. It started with responses from close friends and then expanded into a much larger cross section of the body of Christ. The turning point in this narrative is when author asked the question, "What should I pray for?" This book is an example of how the Body of Christ-God's people in this world-should live and support each other. This is a "must read" for anyone who is facing the loss of a loved one.

Reviews - What do our customers think?
Body of Christ at work  Jan 6, 2004
'Dying with Carol' is a true-lived story of how the Body of Christ, fellow believers, came together to support and uplift Bob and Carol during her struggle with cancer and her earthly death. Bob and Carol's story shows that as brothers and sisters in Christ, we are not bound by miles. No matter where our location, we can reach out to those in need of support. This book provides us with a look at what can happen when we reach beyond ourselves and towards others. This book is a guide to show us how we can be effective in helping others, no matter what struggle they are going through.

Dying With Carol  Dec 25, 2003
Dying With Carol focuses on how the Body of Christ shares in the living and dying of a Christian. The book chronicles the love and care shared by Christians with one family as they experience the death of a loved one. It is a wonderful read for those in the midst of dealing with dying, and those who are experiencing the grief surrounding death. The author shares how life changed for him, how his prayers changed, and how through Christ, lives throughout the United States were woven together to find hope for new life.
