Informational, Factual and Valuable  Mar 27, 2003
Only someone who is closed minded would not benefit from viewing this
video. The video's production values highlight the informative and easy
to understand commentary that accompanies it. I was surprised how the
video articulates a point of view using facts and real life interviews to discuss the ideas around this clearly emotional issue. I cross-checked many of the facts and found them not only correct but in context. Well done and well worth every penny spent on it. This video is an excellent resource for churches, hospitals, schools as well as the individual.
Eye opening!  Mar 21, 2003
This short but very informative video shows clearly that assisted suicide is not the answer for the the terminally ill,the infirm, the old or the unwanted. The video gives information on countries where assisted suicide has become legal and a Pandora's box has been unlocked. It also provides the logical solutions that a civilized society must implement to care for those who suffer. Terminating their life is a sign that society has failed these people and is not wiiling to meet their needs, whether it be succesful pain management or dedicated medical and emotional support! If you believe assisted suicide is ok, you should view this video!
Great video! Insightful analysis; obviously hits a nerve!  Feb 15, 2003
AS evidenced by the reaction of critics, euthanasia advocates really bristle at any analysis of their cause that paints it in a less-than-rosey light.

This video powerfully demonstrates the positive alternatives to "assisting suicide;" chronicles the ever-expanding "reasons" that euthanasia advocates have offered (Dr. Neitche and other euthanasia 'heroes' now freely admit it is not to be limited to the terminally ill); the video DOCUMENTS in detail the publically acknowledged abuses in both the Netherlands and Oregon; and touching on the above mentioned criticism, the Sunday Oregonian has now documented (three part report, final three Sundays of January 2003)that there is a suicide epidemic now sweeping through Oregon's medically dependent population.

Suicide contagion has been widely documented.
If anything, the suggestion that now legalizing assisted suicide may contribute to such a social climate in Oregon has been strongly supported by recently evidenced facts.

Long and short of it is this:

If you liked Kevorkian, this video will give you no comfort. On the other hand, if you want to comfort the sick and/or dying, after seeing this video, you won't want to just kill them.

Out Dated information!  Nov 26, 2002
The fears exploited in this video have now been shown to be baseless by 5 years of experience in the State of Oregon with a legal hastened death law. Foolish statements in this video such as "assisted suicide is contagious" are proven wrong by Oregon Health Department statistics. Vulnerable populations have not rushed to use the law. Perhaps the death of this video should be hastened.
