Overview
In this challenging book, four highly respected think discuss the need for a renewal of Christian ethical reflection in a dramatically changed world and articulate their distinctive point of view on how this can responsibly be done. Christian Social Ethics in a Global Era is thus both a call for renewal in our thinking and acting, and an introduction to the issues that must be addressed by any meaningful response to our new global situation.

Reviews - What do our customers think?
A Hard Read  Jan 31, 2010
so far I've read 1/2 of the book. But I understand very little of what he is trying to say. It's almost as if the author is trying to say something without let you know because if makes it so complicated in how he words the sentences.

If you ever heard Alan Greenspan speak on Economics. The author(s) seem to want to write in similar fashion concerning Christianity and issues in Society.

Stackhouse writes mainly concerning Protestants and how they should deal. But there are so many subheadings that it is hard to follow along what he really is trying to get at.
