The Early And Latter Rains In Israel  Mar 14, 2009
This awesome little book covers the revival among Israeli Believers in Yeshua (Jesus) in the late 1960's.

After the Six Day War in 1967, God steadily begin to work among Believers, Christian and Messianic, Jewish and Gentile, Protestant and Roman Catholic, within Israel for revival.

While the claim these days is of approximately 10,000 Messianic Jews in Israel, this is the story of the beginning of that revival, when only a few Believers (Jewish and Gentile) lived in the Land of Israel.

This book tells the story of the things that happened within individual and with congregational lives, as God's Latter Rain was poured out on His 'church' in Israel.

The events of the revival in Israel are faithfully recorded here, and the Charismatic Renewal that seemed to accompany God's Holy Spirit, wherever the Spirit moved and ministered in the Land, is also explained here within the pages of this small volume.

I don't know of any other book like this one, which I'm always amazed hasn't sold better among Believers here in America, because so many of us love Israel, and the Israeli people.

The author of this book, Chandler Lanier, is the Editor of the Hebrew publication 'Hayahad' ('The Community') in Israel, as well as the English publication 'Hayahad Digest'.

He in most cases, just lets the people who were involved in this Israeli revival simply tell their own stories, which I found extremely fascinating!

If you are interested in Israel, and especially in Israeli Believers, and you care about true revival in Israel in the future ("All of Israel will be saved!"), I strongly suggest that you read this small, but fact-filled book of amazing stories of God's work among Israelis in the late 1960's.
