I bought this book for my daughter who was 10 at the time. I read it first and even censored the chapters I didn't think she was ready for. Eventually, she read the whole thing and it opened up a great dialogue between us and allowed her to ask questions about the confusing things. It was a good way for me to approach a "scary" subject and now we talk openly about everything.

| Excellent book that will not dissappoint. I have a daughter who is 9 years old and wanted her to have some insight about the changes her body will be going through in the coming years (months). She read half the book in one setting! Although I have not read the book myself, the few pages that I did read explain it in a clear and easy to understand language for children. | I recently bought this book for my 11 year old daughter, and I am very impressed with the honesty through which the information is presented. Adults and tweens alike can relate to the messages throughout this book. Not only is the information accurate, but most importantly it is approached from a tween standpoint. The religious messages that accompany each of the maturity issues are outstanding.
